Fashion

I must admit there are definately perks to being female when it comes to appearance.

we can wear amazing clothes, put on enhancing make up and create hairstyles that rock your socks whenever we want and then walk down the street and have everyone we pass go 'wow'.
(Not everyone seems to believe in this as I have seen many a tragic looking girl in my 18 years)

Guys are restircted with what they can wear and do and although some do wear make up, its still a bit unaccepted by society yet girls can wear whatever they like and everyones cool with it.

I went through a total tomboy faze a few years back but now I'm all about feminine.

I love wearing dresses and skirts and tops that are really feminine and flowing.

I dont think many people can pull off tight clothes and although I'm a perfectly healthy weight I still try to avoid skin tight due to the fact that its not flattering and can reveal body secrets you'd rather hide.

I'm loving the current trends of the Gosip Girl style but I can see it going out of style quite quickly, tartan never lasts long.

I prefer soft colours like pastals and seeing as I'm still in school, I'm not too keen about looking like a school girl when I don't have to.

I prefer to stick to clothes that are timeless and suit my shape. Instead of following every trend, I try to pick what i like out of it and add it to my own style.

I'm not going to lie though, I will happily spend hours pouring over magazines and going shopping but thats me.

Thoughts?

Shanti.
